...wishing all of you ~ dearest readers,
a most joyous Easter Holiday weekend
spent with those you love,
~ coloring oh-so-lovely eggs
(for delicious eggs salad...later!)
~ eating the heads off chocolate bunnies
(what?! isn't that your favorite part too?!)
~ preparing an easter dinner table,
full of all your spring time favorite recipes dishes,
~ hiding palstic, candy filled easter eggs
(note to self...DON"T use foil wrapped chocolate anything-
it melts to the eggs!!)
but most especially that:
~
HE IS RISEN!!
~
Happiest Easter!!
And offcourse I wish you a very happy easter too. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteMy babies grew up and turned into adults living far away, but since I'm heading into my 2nd childhood, I will definitely be coloring Easter eggs and eating a chocolate bunny... I hope you & yours have a joyous Easter!

I am so happy to see you type "He has risen" - beautiful image isn't it? One of our trips was changed to this coming up weekend but that's okay, we will still spend this Easter in spirit.
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary,
ReplyDeleteI am actually partial to the peeps. I eat the bunnies section by section, beginning with the ears. :) Wishing you and your loved ones a very blessed Easter weekend.

We will have our Easter Egg Hunt with three little boys and celebrate a birthday which just happens to fall on Easter this year. Have a wonderful Easter.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the part where you get as much color on your fingers as you get on the eggs. Then you walk around like a preschooler with your colorful digits! Have a blessed Easter Rosemary!
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Sassafras Stuff! It is so nice to connect with you! I have to work today, so I don't have time to peruse your whole blog, but I will be back! I signed on to follow!

Such a lovely site...and such a special time...as much as I embrace the fun of hiding and searching for pretty little eggs, it makes my heart rejoice when I ponder the true reason we celebrate this day.
ReplyDeleteEarth's "saddest day"...and "gladdest day" ....were only three days apart...
P.S... What is this fabulous music you have shared with me??? I have a store, and decided to jot you a note from there...well, I shut off "my" music off and completely enjoy yours!...my favorite, you ask? All the romantic blues...thank you so very much...smile on Rosie
