... lately
it seems as I've been in a pedestal kinda mode
and
NOTHING
is safe!!
ahem...
* will you be stopping by for a visit soon?
(she asks, while ornery-ly gazing down at her feet)
I'm just sayin' ~
as I will seek out a special candlestick holder,
most especially for you!!
lol!!
playin' in the studio,
I covered this paper mache egg with paper blossoms
that I white washed to soften their color
and then pushed pearl head pins through the centers for added romance and whimsy
oohhhh
ppuuuuurrrrrty!!
I then nestled the egg upon some lace and silk rose petals
and glued them all atop another on...
can you guess what?
yep'
a glass candle stick holder!!
front of my pretty blossom egg...
on the top,
I added a silk rose...
I simply adore how it turned out
soft,
romantic,
and dreamy...
~
inspired??

Rosemary, I am your newest follower although I'm a little confused because I thought I already was. I have known of you and your creative talents since I first begin blogging and have seen many of your posts, that's why I was under the impression I was already a follower. How I got to your blog I don't know. I guess none of that matters anymore, I'm just happy that I had sense enough, for some reason, to check if I was on your followers list. I love your blog and will visit often. BTW I love, love, love your beautiful egg and will have to get right on making one for myself. Wish me luck since I don't even come close to being as talented as you.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend,
Irma
